Teaching
What?
Italian to foreigners.
How?
Online via Skype, GTalk, Windows Live messenger or similar, or in person if you live in Turin (Italy).
Program learning
During lessons we will use different kind of “texts”, written texts, oral texts, images, videos etc. All these will be the base of our learning: we will use them to improve our comprehension capability, expand our lexical knowledge, making exercises, express our opinion in case of high level learning .
We will study the specific grammar that is inside these texts and put in practice what we have learned with many exercises and jokes.
Normally this is my personal way of giving lessons, but every situation is different so there is always something unforeseeable in every lesson :-)
Approach
My approach is based on the student interest and motivation activation. Only if a student is interested on a specific subject, he will be able to relate to another language without effort and with possibly pleasure. So my students will learn the language in a spontaneous and natural way.
Who am I?
I’m a native language teacher, I have got the degree in Contemporary Philosophy, have worked for many years in a Company and then have studied to teach Italian to foreign people. On July 2010 I have made the examination to get the “DITALS II Level” Certificate, a specific certificate that the “University For Foreign People” of Siena gives. After that I’ve been dealing with the NUIG (National University of Ireland – Galway) Italian Department to teach Italian to the irish undergraduate students. Now I am collaborating with many schools of Italian for foreigners here in Turin.
On Linkedin you find my complete profile and my teaching experiences.
